On the wall, the 11x14 Elise measures 14.5 by 17.5 inches, with 1.75 inches of scalloped wood around the artwork on every side. That makes it a mid-size piece: large enough to hold its own above a console or a bed, yet modest enough to hang as a pair or a trio along a hallway. For a pair hung upright, allow 29 inches of width plus the gap you want between the two frames.
The 11x14 on the wall
Putting an 8x10 print in an 11x14 frame with a mat is a popular way to finish a print, because the mat gives a smaller image room to breathe. The same frame also takes an 11x14 print on its own, and customers have used theirs for original paintings. As a scalloped wall frame at this size, it works in a living room, a bedroom or a hallway without taking over the wall.

The scallops are precision-cut in solid wood, then sanded and finished by hand to remove any imperfections.

Two steel sawtooth hangers on the back let it hang tall or wide.
Ready to fill
A 1/8 inch fiberboard backing is held in place by turn-button fasteners. Artwork is not included.

11x14 frame FAQ
An 11x14 inch print fits the frame directly. Add the standard mat and it holds an 8x10 print; for any other size, enter a custom mat opening.
On the product page, add the standard mat for the 11x14 size. Its opening is 8x10 inches and it adds $15 to the price. Choose one of seven mat colours, then place your print behind the mat.
